The Neutra-Safe condensate neutralizer’s innovative features set it
apart from the competition. Our tube style condensate neutralizers
have patented built-in unions with o-ring seals at each end. The
unions ensure ease of installation, service, and replacement of media.
The clear tube allows for visual inspection. Our proprietary blend
of calcite and magnesium oxide provides superior performance.
Neutra-Safe condensate neutralizers are compatible with all gas fired
condensing appliances.
THE MEDIA
Our Neutra-pH is made up of clean calcite (98%-100% pure calcium
carbonate) and magnesium oxide. Calcite works by having the
acidic aqueous solution come in contact with its surface. It raises
the pH by dissolving some of the calcite (calcium carbonate)
releasing carbon dioxide and various salts. Some of the salts stay
entrained in the aqueous solutions and some may settle to the
bottom of the neutralizer. An advantage of calcite is that it is self-
limiting and does not over correct causing a high pH condition which
is undesirable.
We added granular magnesium oxide to our media for better
performance. Calcite and magnesium oxide are used globally in
the treatment of potable (drinking) water for raising pH. Neutrasafe
