PARTITIONED SYSTEMS OPERATION

“ not partitioned
If your system is multi-partitioned and the keypad resides in one partition, your keypad will provide the status of
the zones in your partitioning by using the screen messages described earlier in this manual. The Master Mode of
operation (if programmed by your installer) allows you to access any partitioning (providing your code is
authorized) within the system and perform functions in other partitions.
Read the following paragraphs to help you understand the different screen messages that will be displayed from
your keypad.
Lights in partitioning master mode
• [BYPASS] will illuminate if ANY area has a zone bypassed.
•
[AWAY] will illuminate steady if ALL partitions are armed and at least one of those partitions are in
the AWAY mode.
•
[STAY] will illuminate steady if ALL partitions are armed and at least one of those partitions are in the
STAY mode.
•
[NIGHT] will illuminate steady if ALL partitions are armed and at least one of those partitions are in
the NIGHT mode.
•
[AWAY], [STAY], [NIGHT] will all flash if an alarm has occurred in any partition OR if a partition
is in an exit delay with one or more other partitions disarmed.
• SYSTEM READY message will display on the LCD screen if
ALL partitions are ready to be armed.
• SOUNDER will sound if ANY area has the sounder on. This includes Entry delay, Exit delay, Chime, and
Alarm.
