Pow er: The recept acle where you plug in t he power adapter.
LAN Port s 1 - 4 : These four ports connect t he rout er to your LAN or hom e
net work using Et hernet cables. This enables com m unicat ion am ong clients,
such as PCs, on t he network. The LAN port s support eit her 10- BASE-T or
100- BASE- T t ransm ission speeds as well as st raight - through and crossover
Et hernet cables. Any of t hese four port s can also serve as an uplink port t o
other net work devices, such as another router or swit ch, which allows you t o
