z I nt ernal Server I P: Ent er the host I P address t o which the packet will be
forwarded. The virt ual server can be set easily by set t ing t he int ernal server
I P address only. You need t o give your LAN PC clients a fixed/ st at ic I P
address for Virtual Server t o work properly.
z Pr ot ocol: Chose TCP/ UDP t ype for t he packet you want to forward. I f t he
rule existed in predefined virt ual server rule, you can choose t he rule.
z Ex t ernal Por t: Ent er t he port num ber ( The value's range is 1 to 65535)
from which t he packet will be on WAN.
z I nt e r n a l Port : Ent er t he port num ber t o which t he packet will be
forwarded on LAN
z Press " Add" butt on aft er ent er t he all fields t o add t he rule.
z Check to select t he rule and press "Delet e" t o delet e t he rule.

Server function. Use the Virt ual Server when you want t he FTP server locat ed in
your privat e LAN t o be accessible t o I nternet users. The configurat ion below
m eans t hat any request com ing form the I nternet t o access your web server will
be t ranslat ed t o your LAN’s FTP server ( 192.168.10.6) . Not e: For the virtual
server to work properly I nt ernet/ rem ote users m ust know your global I P
address.
