z PPPoE Account : Ent er the User Nam e provided by your I SP for t he PPPoE
connection
z PPPoE Passw ord: Ent er t he Password provided by your I SP for the PPPoE
connection
z Physical Address Clone : Your I SP m ay require a particular MAC address
in order for you t o connect t o t he I nt ernet . This MAC address is the PC’s
MAC address t hat your I SP had originally connect ed your I nt ernet
connect ion t o. Type in t his MAC address in t his sect ion to replace t he WAN
MAC address with the MAC address of t hat PC ( you have to be using t hat PC
for t he Clone MAC Address but t on t o work).
z MTU: MTU is t he Maxim um Transm ission Unit . I t specifies t he largest
packet size perm it ted for I nt ernet transm ission. Ent er your MTU num ber in
the t ext- box to set the lim it at ion. The default value of MTU is 1492 and use
1300 while t he line condit ion is bad.
z DN S: Check " DNS" and ent er t he I P addr ess t o specify DNS server for LAN
DHCP server.
z Connect ion Type: Select your PPPoE connection from t hese options:
Connect t o I nt erne t a utom a t ica lly: This feat ure will keep your I nt ernet
connect ion always alive. The Rout er will periodically check your I nt ernet
connect ion. I f you are disconnect ed, then t he Rout er will aut om atically
re- est ablish your connect ion. To use t his opt ion, click t he radio but ton next
to Aut o Connect .
Aut o discon ne ct w hen idle, t im e out : I f enabled, t he rout er will t rigger
a PPPoE session for connect ion to t he I nt ernet if any client PC on your
WLAN/ LAN sends out a request for I nternet access. However, t he rout er
aut om atically disconnect s t he PPPoE session aft er t he WAN connect ion has
been idle for t he am ount of t im e you specified in t he tim eout box. I f your
