6 .1 Loggin g I n
I n order t o m ake t he whole network operat e successfully, it is necessary t o
configure t he Wir eless Rout er t hrough your com put er has a WEB browser
inst alled. Please follow up t he st eps list ed below.
St ep 1: St art your Web browser and t ype h t t p:/ / 1 9 2 .1 6 8 .1 0 .1 in the Address
field. This address is t he default private I P of your router.

I f t he rout er ’s LAN port has been changed with new I P address, ent er the
new I P address inst ead.
St ep 2: Aft er Pressing Ent er, you will be able t o see t he Wireless Broadband
Router’s web- based configurat ion ut ilit y. From now on t he Wireless Broadband
Router act s as a Web server sending HTML pages/ form s at your request. You
can click t he m enu opt ions at t he left to start t he configurat ion t ask.
Don’t forget t o change t he Password in configurat ion’s Aut hent icat ion t o
ensure t he securit y. When first configuring your rout er, it is recom m ended t hat
you have an Ethernet cable connected t o t he rout er. Perform ing the I NI TI AL
configurat ion using a wireless connect ion is not secure and is not recom m ended.
Aft er you have finished t he initial configurat ion of t he rout er, your connect ion
will be secure and you can safely use eit her a wired or wireless connect ion.
