5. Select the Group ID from the list.
6. In the Group Name field, specify the name of the user group.
The name can contain from 1 to 31 alphanumeric characters.
7. Click the Add button.
The group is added.
Configure Captive Portal User Settings
To configure captive portal user settings:
1. Launch a web browser
.
2. In the address field of your web browser
, enter the IP address of the switch.
The login window opens.
3. Enter admin as the user name, enter your local device password,
and click the Login
button.
The first time that you log in, no password is required. However, you then must specify a
local device password to use each subsequent time that you log in.
The System Information page displays.
4. Select Security > Control > Captive Portal > CP User Configuration.
5. Enter the local User ID to identify the name of the user
.
6. In the User Name field, enter the name of the user
.
The name can contain 1 to 31 alphanumeric characters. Once created, user names
cannot be changed or modified.
7. In the Edit Password list, select Enable only when you are changing the password.
The default value is Disable.
8. In the Password field, enter a password for the user
.
The password length can be from 8 to 64 characters.
9. In the Confirm Password field, enter the password for the user again.
10. Use the Group field to assign the user to a least one user group.
