4. Select Security > Access > SSH > SSH Configuration.
5. Select the SSH Admin
Mode Disable or Enable radio button.
This enables or disables the SSH server administrative mode. When this mode is
enabled, the device can be accessed by using an SSH client on a remote system.
The
currently configured value is displayed. The default value is Disable.
6. Use SSH Session T
imeout to configure the SSH session inactivity time-out value for
incoming SSH sessions to the switch.
A connected user that does not exhibit any SSH activity for this amount of time is
automatically disconnected from the device.
The acceptable range for this field is 1-5
minutes.
7. Use Maximum Number of SSH Sessions to configure the maximum number of inbound
SSH sessions that can be connected to the device simultaneously
.
The currently configured value is displayed. The acceptable range for this field is 0–5.
8. Use Login Authentication
List to select an authentication list.
This list is used to authenticate users who try to login to the switch.
9. Use Enable Authentication
List to select an authentication list.
This list is used to authenticate users who try to get enable level privilege.
10. Use SSH Port to enter the port range from 1 to 65535.
The default value is 22.
11. Click the Apply button.
