TOP Command
The top command is a UNIX-based command that displays real-time CPU utilization
information by process. The output contains a list of the most CPU-intensive tasks and can
be sorted by CPU usage, memory usage, and run time. For more detailed information about
the
top command, see your UNIX documentation.
TFTP Server Requirements
NETGEAR recommends using a TFTP server that supports blocksize negotiation (as
described in RFC 2348, TFTP Blocksize Option), to enable faster file downloads and larger
file downloads.
System Odometer
Each field replaceable component contains a system odometer counter in EEPROM. The
show odometers command displays an approximate days of service duration for an individual
component since the component was manufactured.
Monitored Components
On a modular switch, the odometer monitors the following components:
Chassis
MSMs
I/O modules
Power controllers
Recorded Statistics
The following odometer statistics are collected by the switch:
Service Days—The amount of days that the component has been running
