2-10 Connecting the Gateway to the Internet
For security reasons, the gateway has its own user name and password. When prompted, enter
admin for the gateway User Name and password for the gateway Password, both in lower case
letters..
4. Connect to the Internet

You are now connected to the gateway’s Connection page, shown in Figure 2-4. This page
provides detailed information about your cable connection.
Note: The user name and password are not the same as any user name or password you
may use to log in to your Internet connection.
Note: If you were unable to connect to the gateway, please refer to “Basic Functions” on
page 6-1.
