• IP addresses — 192.168.0.101. The LAN IP address must be an unused IP address from the IP
address range used on your LAN If your LAN has a DHCP server, this IP address should be
outside the range of addresses allocated by the DHCP server.
• IP Subnet mask — 255.255.255.0. Combined with the IP address, the IP Subnet Mask allows a
device to know which other addresses are local to it, and which must be reached through a
gateway or router. The Subnet Mask specifies the network number portion of the IP address. It
must match the settings of the other PCs and devices on your LAN.
