The rear panel of the Model RT338 router is shown in Figure 2-2. Refer to this diagram to identify
all of the ports on the router when you attempt to make any connections.
Key:
1 = Power switch
2 = DC adapter outlet for connecting the DC adapter to the router
3 = UTP Ethernet port for connecting the router to the LAN with UTP cable
4 = RS-232 MANAGER port for connecting the router to the serial port of a PC
5 = ISDN port for connecting the router to ISDN cable
6 = Phone ports for connecting the router to a telephone, fax, or modem

Warning:
Several of the connectors and connection cables are very similar. It is
important that you use the correct cable for each connection and that you do not
connect the ports incorrectly, because serious damage to your router could result.
