Configuring Dial-In Access 8-9
RADIUS Client Configuration
To configure the router’s RADIUS client:
1.
From the Manager Interface Main Menu, open Menu 23 - System Security.
2.
Type 2 and press [Enter] to open Menu 23.2 - System Security - External Server as shown in
Figure 8-4.

Determine which port is used by your server software and set the Port # field in Menu 23.2.
The RADIUS authentication port was originally 1645 but was changed to 1812 in later
implementations.
You must reboot your router after changing the RADIUS port number.
4.
Enter settings for the other menu items as described in Table 8-3.
