4-8 Using Your Browser for Configuring the Router
Click on the “Show Statistics” button to display router usage statistics, as shown in Figure 4-6
below:

IP Address This field displays the IP address bein
g
used by the Internet (WAN) port
of the router. If no address is shown, the router cannot connect to the
Internet.
IP Subnet Mask This field displays the IP Subnet Mask bein

used by the Internet (WAN)
port of the router.
DHCP If set to None, the router is confi
g
ured to use a fixed IP address on the
WAN.
If set to Client, the router is confi
g
ured to obtain an IP address
dynamically from the ISP.
LAN Port These parameters apply to the Local (WAN) port of the router.
IP Address This field displays the IP address bein

used by the Local (LAN) port of
the router. The default is 192.168.0.1
IP Subnet Mask This field displays the IP Subnet Mask bein

used by the Local (LAN)
port of the router. The default is 255.255.255.0
DHCP If set to None, the router will not assi
