This chapter provides instructions for installing the Model RT311 or RT314 Internet Access
Gateway Router.

• AC power adapter, 12 V DC output
• 10-foot twisted-pair Category 5 (Cat 5) Ethernet cable, straight-through wiring (white)
• 10-foot twisted-pair Category 5 Ethernet cable, crossover wiring (red) (RT311 only)

Call your dealer if there are any wrong, missing, or damaged parts. Keep the carton, including
the original packing materials, to repack the router if there is a need to return it for repair.
