Workstation Configuration
Before installation and configuration of the Public Access Printers on your workstation, ensure that
the following statements apply:
• Novell IntranetWare Client v2.2 (or later) is installed on your PC.
• You have access to the Novell Printer Manager utility (Nwpmw32.exe).
Installing and Configuring the Public Access Printers
To install and configure public access printers:
1. Start the Novell Printer Manager utility.
2. Select Printer>New from the menu, and click on Add.
3. Select the required printer and click on Install.
4. Click on Close.
The printer appears in the main Printer Manager window under the Name listing and is now
available for print jobs. Printer drivers are automatically downloaded from the server as
required.
The printer is now in your Windows printer list and may be used by any Windows application.
