Responding means the device does not respond to the protocol. Indeterminate means
the monitoring software has not tried to reach the device or there was some other error
which prevented us from determining one of the other two statuses.

tatus depends on the default ICMP monitor (see Resource
Monitors o
n page 97. If you exclude this equipment from the monitor or disable it (for
example, for performance reasons) then a status may appear, but it is not meaningful.
Cr
eator The logged in user that created this record in the database.
Firmware V
ersion This resource’s firmware version.
Backup Re
sult The result of any attempted configuration file backup for this resource.
Man
aged By Hostname True/false. True means DNS rather IP address is how
NMS200 manages this resources.
Mod
el The resource’s model number.
Equipme
nt Icon The resource’s icon (typically related to the Vendor).
Equipme
nt Type The resource’s type. For example Router.
Locati
on Name The resource’s location.
IP Address The resource’s IP address.
Discove
ry Date When the resource was discovered.
Administrati
ve State One of three descriptive values. The options are:
- L
ocked Device use is prohibited.
- Shutting Down Only existing users can use the device.
- Unlo
cked Normal use of device is permitted.
Hardware V
ersion The resource’s hardware version.
Last Bac
kup When the resource’s configuration was last backed up.
Last Modifie
d When the resource’s configuration was last modified.
Equipme
nt Name The resource’s name on the network.
Alarm Severity The most severe alarm on the resource.
Restore Resul
t The result of any attempted restoration of configuration for this
resource.
Description A text description of the device.
