Expanded Authentication Portlet
The right-click menu in the expanded Authentication portlet offers Add /
Remove Columns in
addition to those in the summary screen (see Add / Remove Columns on page 40). This
offers the same column setup as the summary screen.
Authentication Snap Panel
When you select a listed authentication the Re
ference Tree Snap Panel displays a tree of
that authentication’s connections to Discovery profiles and equipment.
Resource Discovery
The following explains and demonstrates the features included in Resource Discovery. The
guide assumes you have full access to all the features (full license) included in the web
portal.
 Here are the steps:
1. Set
up Discovery Profiles for the resources you want to discover.
2. Execute th
e profile
3. V
iew the results in the Managed Resources portlet.
Tip: Quick Discovery e
xecutes the selected Default discovery profile.
