View the device status and firmware version
You can view the device status and firmware version.
To view the device status and firmware version:
1. Launch a web browser.

In the address field of your web browser, enter the IP address of the switch.
The login page displays.
3. Click the Main UI Login button.
The main UI login page displays in a new tab.
4. Enter admin as the user name, enter your local device password, and click the Login
button.
The first time that you log in, no password is required. However, you then must
specify a local device password to use each subsequent time that you log in.
The System Information page displays.
5. Scroll down to the Temperature Status section.

To refresh the page, click the Refresh button.
The following table describes the nonconfigurable Device Status information.

DescriptionField
The release.version.maintenance number of the code currently running
on the switch. For example, if the release is 1, the version is2, and the
maintenance number is 4, the format is 1.2.4.
Firmware Version
The version of the boot code that is in the flash memory to load the
firmware into the memory.
