View or clear EAP and EAPoL statistics
You can view information about Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) and EAP over LAN
(EAPoL) packets that are received on physical ports.
To view or clear EAP and EAPoL statistics:
1. Connect your computer to the same network as the switch.
You can use a WiFi or wired connection to connect your computer to the network, or
connect directly to a switch that is off-network using an Ethernet cable.
2. Launch a web browser.
3. In the address field of your web browser, enter the IP address of the switch.
If you do not know the IP address of the switch, see
Change the default IP address of the
switch on page 13.
The login window opens.
4. Enter the switch’s password in the Password
field.
The default password is password.
The System Information page displays.
5. Select Monitoring > Ports > EAP Statistics.
802.3x Pause Frames
Transmitted
The number of MAC control frames transmitted on this interface with an opcode
indicating the PAUSE operation. This counter does not increment when the
interface is operating in half-duplex mode.
GVRP PDUs Received The number of GVRP PDUs received in the GARP layer.
GVRP PDUs Transmitted The number of GVRP PDUs transmitted from the GARP layer.
GVRP Failed Registrations The number of times attempted GVRP registrations could not be completed.
EAPOL Frames Received The number of valid EAPoL frames of any type that were received by this
authenticator

EAPOL Frames
Transmitted The number of EAPoL frames of any type that were transmitted by this
authenticator.

The elapsed time in days, hours, minutes, and seconds since the statistics for
this port were last cleared.
