The color of the port itself and the port LEDs indicate the status that is described in the
following table.
Port or port LED Color and description
Port color The port color indicates the port link status:
• Green.
The port is linked up.
• Black. No link is present.
Left port LED The color indicates the connection, speed, and traffic status:
• Off.
The port is not connected. This is the default state.
• Blinking green.
The port operating, transmitting traffic, or receiving traffic at its
maximum speed
• Blinking amber.
The port operating, transmitting traffic, or receiving traffic below
its maximum speed.
Right port LED The color indicates the port PoE status:
• Off.
The port is not delivering PoE power.
• Solid green.
The port is delivering PoE power.
• Solid amber.
A PoE fault occurred.
The system LEDs indicate the status that is described in the following table.
System LED Color and description
Power/Cloud LED The color indicates the cloud connection status:
• Solid green.
The switch is either an Insight discovered switch that is not yet
connected to the cloud server or a standalone switch that you can manage
through the local browser UI.
• Solid blue.
The switch is connected to the cloud server and is set up to be
managed by the NETGEAR Insight app or Insight Cloud portal.
PoE Max LED The color indicates the system PoE budget status:
• Off. Suf
ficient (more than 7W of) PoE power is available.
• Solid amber. Less than 7W of PoE power is available.
7. To see a menu that displays statistics and configuration options, right-click on a port.
