Syslog server
syslog_server ipaddress or domain name The IP address or domain name of
the syslog server.
syslog_severity LOG_EMERG, LOG_ALERT,
LOG_CRITICAL,
LOG_ERROR, LOG_WARNING,
LOG_NOTICE, LOG_INFO, or
LOG_DEBUG
The syslog severity level. The
keywords are self-explanatory.
Note: All the logs with a severity
that is equal to and above the
severity that you specify are logged
on the specified syslog server. For
example, if you select
LOG_CRITICAL as the severity,
then the logs with the severities
LOG_CRITICAL, LOG_ALERT, and
LOG_EMERG are logged.
