There are two ways to setup the EX3700, EX6000, EX6110, EX6120 or EX6150 as a range

extender. One option is to use the browser setup and the other is to use the WPS method. This

article will guide you on how to setup your extender using browser setup.

To install your extender using browser setup:

1. Plug the extender into a power outlet and wait for the power LED to become

solid green.

2. Use a Wi-Fi client (wireless computer, smart phone, or tablet) and connect to the

NETGEAR_EXT wireless network (SSID).

Note: You can also use a wired computer to install the extender. Use an Ethernet cable and

connect between the computer and the extender Ethernet port.

3. Once the wireless client is connected to the extender network, the Device LED

will turn on.

4. Open an internet browser and go to http://www.mywifiext.net.

5. Click NEW EXTENDER SETUP.

6. Complete the Extender Setup screen and click NEXT. Note: This account is for your extender user interface login credentials and password recovery.

7. Click WIFI RANGE EXTENDER. 8. Select the Wi-Fi network that you would like to extend and click NEXT.

9. Enter the wireless Password (network key) then click NEXT.

10. Enter your preferred network name and security settings. Click NEXT. Note: To use a different wireless security type, select Use a different password and select your preferred security type.

11. Connect your wireless device to the extender and click Continue. 12. Your extender is now configured as a wireless range extender. Click Next to proceed with the registration.

13. Click Finish after completing the registration. Note: You can click Skip Registration if the device is already registered.
