7.2. MLD Commands
This section provides a detailed explanation of the MLD commands. The commands are divided into the
following different groups:
Show commands are used to display device settings, statistics and other information.
Configuration commands are used to configure features and options of the switch. For every configuration
command there is a show command that will display the configuration setting.
7.2.1. Show commands
7.2.1.1. show ipv6 mld groups
Use this command to display information about multicast groups that MLD reported. The information is
displayed only when MLD is enabled on at least one interface. If MLD was not enabled on even one interface,
there is no group information to be displayed.
Format show ipv6 mld groups {<slot/port> | vlan <vlan-id> | <group-address>}

The following fields are displayed as a table when <slot/port> is specified.

<slot/port>
Valid slot and port number separated by forward slashes.
<vlan-id>
VLAN ID. The range of VLAN ID is from 1 to 4093.
<group-address>
The address of the multicast group.

Group Address
The address of the multicast group.
Interface
Interface through which the multicast group is reachable.
Up Time
Time elapsed in hours, minutes, and seconds since the multicast group has been
known.
Expiry Time
Time left in hours, minutes, and seconds before the entry is removed from the MLD
membership table.
