5.15.4. show lldp remote-device
This command is used to display summary information about remote devices that transmit current LLDP data to
the system. You can show information about LLDP remote data received on all ports or on a specific port.
Format show lldp remote-device [<slot/port>]

Display Message
Discards
Total number of LLDP frames discarded on the port for any reason.
Errors
The number of invalid LLDP frames received on the port.
Ageout
Total number of times a complete remote data entry was deleted for the port
because the Time to Live interval expired.
TLV Discards
Shows the number of TLVs discarded.
TLV Unknowns
Total number of LLDP TLVs received on the port where the type value is in the
reserved range, and not recognized.
TLV 802.1
Total number of LLDP TLVs received on the port where the type value is 127 and
OUI type is 00-80-C2.
TLV 802.3
Total number of LLDP TLVs received on the port where the type value is 127 and
OUI type is 00-12-0F.

Local Interface
Identifies the interface that received the LLDPDU from the remote device.
Rem ID
Shows the ID of the remote device.
Chassis ID
The ID that is sent by a remote device as part of the LLDP message, it is usually a
MAC address of the device.
Port ID
Shows the port number that transmitted the LLDPDU.
System Name
Shows the system name of the remote device
