Specify Network Settings

AC1900 Cable Modem Voice Router
To specify the pool of IP addresses that the modem router assigns:
1. Launch an Internet browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to the
network.
2. Ty
pe http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com.
A login window opens.
3. Enter th
e user name and password.
The user name is ad
min. The default password is password. The user name and
password are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home page displays.
4. Select A
DVANCED > Setup > LAN Setup.
5. Make sure that the Use Router as DHCP Server check box is selected.
6. S
pecify the range of IP addresses that the modem router assigns:
a. In the S
tarting IP Address field, type the lowest number in the range.
This IP address must be in the same subnet as the modem router.
b. In the Endi
ng IP Address field, type the number at the end of the range of IP
addresses.
This IP address must be in the same subnet as the modem router.
7. Click the Appl
y button.
Your settings are saved.
The modem router delivers the following p
arameters to any LAN device that requests DHCP:
• An IP add
ress from the range that you defined
• Subnet
mask
• Ga
teway IP address (the modem router’s LAN IP address)
• DNS serve
r IP address (the modem router’s LAN IP address)
