7. To stop a ping test, click the Abort Test button.

o clear the results from the display, click the Clear Results button.
Run the Traceroute Utility
To display the route and measure transit delays of packets across an IP, run the traceroute
utility.
To run a traceroute test:
1. Laun
ch a web browser from a computer or wireless device that is connected to the
network.
2. Ty
pe http://routerlogin.net or http://192.168.0.1.
A login window opens.
3. Enter
the modem router user name and password.
The user name is ad
min. The user name and password are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home page displays.
4. Select A
DVANCED > Administration > Diagnostics.
5. In
the Utility list, select Traceroute.
6. Specify the following parameters for the traceroute utility:
•Target. The
IP address or host name of the computer you are tracing.
•Max Hops. Th
e maximum number of hops to allow when tracing the route.
• Data Size. The
input the size (in bytes) of the packet.
• Base Port. Th
e port number to send the packet to.
• Resolve Host. Sele
ct On to resolve the host name to the IP address.
