Installing the Software

OnsubsequentinsertionsoftheAirCardmodem,TRU‐Install
verifiesthatthecorrectsoftwareisalreadyinstalled.Ifitis,
thenthemodemisreadytouse.Thisprocess takesafew
seconds.
IfyouhaveanyproblemswiththeTRU‐Installprocess,please
refertotheSierraWirelesswebsiteat:
www.sierrawireless.com/TRU‐Install.
Reinstalling the software
Note: Skip this section if your
AirCard modem comes with an
installation CD.
Ifyouneedtoreinstallorrepairthe3GWatchersoftware,use
theSoftware Installation Mode.
1. Openthe
Control Panel.
2. Double‐click
TRU-Install.
3. Followtheonscreeninstructions.
AirCard 875, 88x, and 88xE
modems
1. Inserting the SIM card
1. IfyourSIMcardisattachedtoalargercard,detachthe
SIMcardandremoveanyfragments stucktoit.
2. PositiontheSIMcardasshowninfigure2‐4(below).

3. GentlypushtheSIMcardintotheslotuntilthecardwill
notgoinanyfurther.
