network,theSierraWirelessnetworkcardshouldnotbeused

insituationswherefailuretotransmitorreceive datacould

resultindamageofanykindtotheuseroranyotherparty,

includingbutnotlimitedtopersonalinjury,death,or

lossof

property.SierraWirelessanditsaffiliatesacceptnoresponsi‐

bilityfordamagesofanykindresultingfromdelaysorerrors

indatatransmittedorreceivedusingtheSierraWireless

networkcard,orforfailureoftheSierraWirelessnetworkcard

totransmitorreceivesuchdata.

TheAirCardmodemMUSTBEPOWEREDOFFinallareas

thatmaybesusceptibletoradiointerference,inparticular:

tions.PowerofftheAirCardmodemwheninstructedtodo

soorwhenyoususpectthatitmaycause

interferenceor

danger.

• Inareaswhereblastingisinprogress

• Whereexplosiveatmospheresmaybepresent

Areaswithapotentiallyexplosiveatmospherearenot

alwaysclearlymarked.Suchareasinclud e gasstations,

fueldepots,chemicaltransferorstoragefacilities,areas

whereblastingisinprogress,areaswheretheaircontains

chemicals

orparticlessuchasgrain,dust,ormetalpow‐

ders,andanyotherareawhereyouwouldnormallybe

advisedtoturnoffyourcellularphoneorvehicleengine.

• Nearmedicalorlife‐supportequipment

Medicalequipmentmaybesusceptibletoanyformof

radiointerference.InsuchareastheAirCard

modemcan

transmitsignalsthatcouldinterferewiththisequipment.
