4. Select Settings > General > Device.
5. Adjust any of these settings:
• Display Brightness . From the menu, select a brightness level.
• Timeout on Battery, Timeout on AC, Timeout on USB . From the menus, select
shorter time periods.
The Submit button displays after you make a selection.
6. Click the Submit button.
Your settings are saved.
Recharge the Battery
The battery comes partially charged. You can recharge the battery from a wall socket or from
the USB port on your computer. Recharging from a wall socket is faster than recharging from
a USB port.
Turn off USB tethering if you only want to charge your mobile hotspot with your computer. For
more information, see USB Tethering on page 56.
