7. Select Settings > General > Device.
8. From the Wi-Fi Standby list, select a shorter time period.
The shorter the time, the longer the battery life.
The Submit button displays after you make a selection.
9. Click the Submit button.
Adjust Display Settings to Increase Battery Life
Dim the screen to reduce the touchscreen’s brightness level. Set the screen time-out to a
shorter period to reduce the amount of time to wait without the touchscreen being touched
before turning the screen blank.
To adjust display settings to increase battery life from the touchscreen:
