Call Status Area
TheCallStatusAreadisplaysmessagesrelatedtothestatusor
progressofaconnection.
Whereadurationtimerisshown,timingbeginswhenthecall
isinitiated—notfromthetimethecall isfullyconnected.This
isameasureofthetime theAirCardExpressCardhasbeen
usingtheradio
channel(awirelessnetworkresource).
Click this display to exit PowerSave modeindicatesthatthe
AirCardExpressCardcouldnotfindasystemwithina
15 minuteinterval.Toconservepower,theAirCard
ExpressCardreduceschannelscanningtoonceeverythree
minutes.ToforcetheAirCardExpressCardoutofPowerSave
mode,clickintheCallStatusArea.TheAirCardExpressCard
performsachannelscan
and,ifnonetworkisdetected,returns
toPowerSavemode.
A circuit switched data call is in progress.
A high-speed (1X or 1xEV-DO) packet data connection is dormant; the
radio channel has been released. You can resume data transmission
without the need of re-establishing the connection.
Some applications may not be able to function on a dormant
connection.
A fatal error has occurred and the AirCard ExpressCard is inoperable.
1. Close Watcher.
2. Safely eject and remove your AirCard ExpressCard.
3. Re-insert your AirCard ExpressCard.
4. Restart Watcher.
5. If this icon is still displayed, restart your computer.
