Welcome ® Congratulations on purchasing the Verizon Wireless BroadbandAccess/NationalAccess AirCard 597E ExpressCard SM with VZAccess Manager. This dual-band ExpressCard operates over the CDMA EV-DO networks in the 800/1900 bands. This wireless ExpressCard enables you to connect at high speed to the Internet, your corporate Intranet, and your email while you're away from the office. This document provides hardware-related information about your AirCard 597E ExpressCard.

AirCard 597E ExpressCard System Requirements ® ® ® Operating system: Microsoft Windows Vista (32–bit or 64–bit), Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Mac OS X 10.4.10 or higher. Disk drive: CD ROM Slot: One ExpressCard/34 or ExpressCard/54 slot. Alternatively, one Type II PC Card slot and an ExpressCard/34 adapter (sold separately). LED LED behavior Indicates Off The card has no power. The card is not completely inserted into the computer, or the computer is in suspend mode (which powers down the card), or you have powered off the card. Blue, not blinking The card has power and is working properly. Blue, blinking The card’s firmware is being updated. Do not remove the card. Amber, blinking The card is searching for service. Amber, not blinking An error has occurred. Eject the card and reinsert it.
