2. Select the Yes radio button. (By default, the No radio button is selected.)
3. Click Apply to
reboot the wireless access point.
The reboot process typically takes about 1 minute. When the Test LED turns off, wait a
few more se
conds before doing anything with the wireless access point.
Change the Administrator Password
The default password is password. You should change this password to a more secure
password. You cannot change the administrator login name (admin).
The ideal password should co
ntain
no dictionary words from any language, and should be a
mixture of letters (both uppercase and lowercase), numbers, and symbols. Your password
can be up to 30 characters.
To change the administrator password:
1. Select Maintenanc
e > Password > Change Password. The Change Password screen
displays:

2. Take one of the following actions:
• Enter a new password twice: once in the New Password field and again in the Repeat
New Passw
ord field.
• Next to Restore Defaul
t Password, select the Yes radio button to restore the default
password. By default, the No radio button is selected.
3. Click Apply to save your settings.
If you have restored
the default password, the login password will be pa
ssword. If you
have configured a new password, write it down in a secure place.
