Home Security Touchscreen HSS101
Access Codes
Touch Access Codes to display the numeric keypad where you enter the master access
code. Touch OK to display the Access Codes screen. This feature is not available for all
Security panels.
After you enter the access code, the Home Security Touchscreen is in user programming
mode. If the Home Security Touchscreen is idle (you have not touched it) for four minutes, it
exits user programming mode and returns to the Settings screen. This can happen when you
are on this screen or any of the other screens you can get to from this screen.
On this screen, you can add, edit, or delete access codes for the Home Security Touchscreen
and Security panel users. See Access Codes on page 10 for more information.
• Touch Add to add an access code for another user. This is useful if you want to keep
track of who made each change in the system or when each user arrived or left the
premises.
• Touch Master Code to change the master access code. You cannot delete the master
code.
• Touch any user name on the list to change or delete the access code for that user.
Note: User access codes are different from the user name and password that
users enter to sign in to the web or mobile portals.
