5-2 Advanced Configuration

Click Wireless > Basic > Scheduled Wireless ON/OFF on the main menu. The Scheduled
Wireless ON/OFF screen displays.
Follow the steps below to schedule wireless on your WN604:
1. Enable Scheduled Wireless ON/OFF by clicking the On radio button. The default is On.
2. Radio Off Schedule: Click any of the weekday checkboxes to set the WN604’s radio off on
that weekday(s).
3. Enter the Radio ON Time and Radio OFF Time to set the period that the WN604’s radio will
be enabled on the days not checked in the previous option. The default is ON for the whole
day.
4. Click Apply.
Configuring Advanced Wireless Settings
The Advanced option of the Wireless Settings menu is used to configure and enable various
wireless LAN parameters for the 802.11b/bg/ng modes. The default wireless LAN parameters
usually work well. However, you can use these settings to fine tune the overall performance of
your wireless access point for your environment.
The Wireless Settings option of the Advanced menu is used to configure the Wireless LAN
parameters. The default advanced wireless LAN parameter settings usually work well.
