Chapter 5
Advanced Configuration
This chapter describes how to configure the advanced features of your NETGEAR Wireless N150
Access Point WN604. The advanced configuration features are located under various sub-menus
under Configuration and provide the following functions:
• Scheduled Wireless: Configuring Scheduled Wireless ON/OFF parameters (“Configuring
Scheduled Wireless”)
• Wireless Settings: Configuring advanced wireless LAN parameters (“Configuring Advanced
Wireless Settings”).
• Advanced QoS Settings: Configuring advanced QoS settings (“Configuring Advanced QoS
Settings”)
• Access Point Settings: Enabling wireless bridge and repeater modes (“Enabling Wireless
Bridging”).
Configuring Scheduled Wireless
The WN604 Wireless Access Point allows you to schedule wireless ON/OFF for any day(s) of the
week, from an ON time to an OFF time. Click Configuration > Wireless > Scheduled Wireless
ON-OFF.
This feature depends on the NTP (Network Time Protocol) functionality. If an NTP client request
fails, then last configured value of radio status by user will be restored. Also, if RF is disabled then
scheduled wireless functionality will not work.
