You can use the Status Bar to verify your network connection. For more information, see
“Wireless Assistant Status Bar” on page 1-13.
8. Close the Smart Wizard or configuration utility on your access point or router.
Using a PIN to Connect to a Wireless Access Point or Router
If your router or access point does not have either a hard of soft push button, you can
• Enter the PIN of the router or access point into the wireless USB adapter, or
• The wireless USB adapter can automatically generate a PIN which you can then enter into
the wireless configuration utility of your router or wireless access point.
To use a PIN to connect to your wireless network:
1. Select the icon from your system tray to open the Wireless Assistant. On the status bar,
click Join a Network.
