Chapter 4 Supervisor Functions
Use the Supervisor Functions to manage the Digital Entertainer HD.
Supervisor Function Menu
To go to the Supervisor Function menu, push Home, and select
More>Supervisor Functions. The Supervisor Function menu offers these options:
• Setup Wizard. Enter or change the settings for the Digital Entertainer HD.
• Advanced Setup. See “Advanced Setup” on page 4-1.
• Full scan for media files. Replace current media files and add new media
files found.
• Quick scan for media files. Look for new media files and add them.
• Look for removable media. Check for media devices such as an iPod or
MP3 player that is connected to the Digital Entertainer HD.
• Update. Check for firmware updates for the Digital Entertainer HD on the
NETGEAR website.
• System Information. See “System Information” on page 4-3.
Advanced Setup
Push Home, and select More>Supervisor Functions>Advanced Setup. The
Advanced Setup menu offers these options:
• Change screen resolution.
• Local settings. See “Local Settings” on page 4-2.
• Setup network connection. See “Setup Network Connection” on page 4-2.
• Setup network shares. Set up shared media files available for the Digital
Entertainer HD. See “Setup Network Shares” on page 4-2.
