addition, you can deselect audio tracks in order to reduce output size. If the

or subtitles.
4.5.5. More Options Area
In the More options area for encoding files you can change the quality for the output file.
For video files you can deselect audio tracks in order to reduce output size and set
encoding options.
The following options are available on the Audio tab:
Include
audio
Includes or excludes audio from the recoding process. Excluding audio will
result in a mute video!
Audio codec
Selects the audio codec used for the output audio format.
Audio bit
rate
Specifies the bit rate, i.e., the data flow per unit of time and thus the quantity
of the saved data.
If the bit rate is low, less data is transferred. The file is then small, but output
quality is lower. If the bit rate is high, more data is transferred. The file size is
then large, but the output quality is high. A value of 128 is near CD quality. If
you choose Automatic, Nero Recode sets the bit rate as close as possible to
the original value.
The values available are determined by the audio format you have selected.
