Displays information about the frame rate and the bit rate. You can
change the video bit rate here.
Only available when recoding to video file.
3.4.5. Content Area
In the content selection area, you can change what content should be ripped.
For recoding to file, you can also change the audio bit rate.
The complete video structure is displayed allowing you to exclude items from the ripping
process. These items could generally be (depending on the video type) video titles, main
movies, menus, extras, and for each of these items you can exclude audio and subtitles.
Excluding parts from the ripping process frees up space to increase the quality of the video
title:
If the check box Fit to target is selected, the quality of the video title is adjusted
automatically to the best possible value depending to the defined target size. Otherwise,
you can adjust the quality of the video title manually using the quality slider.
The following options are available in the content selection area:
Content
Displays the items of the video disc in a navigation structure. To include
an item in the recode process, select the check box in front of it.
Size
Displays the output size.
Compression
Displays or adjusts the quality of the output in percent of the original
quality.
Only available for DVD-Video.
Audio
Lists one audio track of the selected video item. By clicking on
the button you can see all available audio tracks and you can also
select / deselect audio tracks for the selected video item.
Audio settings: Opens the Audio & Subtitles window. Here, you can
select / deselect audio tracks and see the audio codecs used. These
settings affect the encoding and are optimized for a specific output
format. However, you can change those settings to meet advanced
needs. See also subsequent table for further information.
Settings cannot be changed for recoding to DVD.
