Audio
Lists one audio track of the selected video item. By clicking on the
button you can see all available audio tracks and you can also select /
deselect audio tracks for the selected video item.
Audio settings: Opens the Audio & Subtitles window. Here, you can
select / deselect audio tracks and see the audio codecs used. These
settings affect the encoding and are optimized for a specific output for-
mat. However, you can change those settings to meet advanced needs.
See also subsequent table for further information.
Settings can not changed for recoding to DVD.
Subtitle
Lists one subtitle of the selected video item. By clicking on the
button
you can see all available audio tracks and you can also select / deselect
audio tracks for the selected video item.
Only available for DVD-Video.
Audio & Subtitles window
For recoding DVD-Video or Blu-ray video to video file or to audio file, audio settings are
available for the single audio tracks. You can open the Audio & Subtitles window via the
button. The following options are in general available, depending on the chosen device:
File extension
Defines the audio file extension.
Only available for recoding to audio file.
Codec
Selects the audio codec used for the output audio format.
AC3 and DTS are only available for pass-through!
