Playback and Edit the Video

The trim feature is activated beneath the preview. The trim feature allows you to add mark-

ers for start and end position to select the area you want to keep. Simply drag and drop the

pin from the beginning or end of the trim timeline onto the desired position. Start and end

position of the area you want to keep can also be entered in the input fields in the Trim area.

Clicking on the Apply button closes the screen and saves any made changes. The so-called

non-destructive procedure is used for processing, i.e. the actual video is not changed, but

flags are simply set, so you can come back at any time as long as the job is not finished and

change the made settings.

Note, that you can only trim the video at its start and beginning. If you want to cut

unwanted scenes or remove advertising sequences from the middle of the video,

we recommend using the cutter feature in Nero Video. Do not forget to save the

changes made with Nero Video to a new video file.
