Encoding Video Files

 The Edit Profile window is opened.

2. Change the settings according to your preferences (see Edit Profile Window→ 64).

3. To save the changes into a new profile, click the Save As button.

Note that if you click the OK button, the changes will only be used for this job, as

predefined profiles will not be changed permanently.

4. Click the OK button.

 The window is closed and the changed profile is passed on to the Convert video files

screen.

5. If you want to adjust the quality:

1. Select the desired quality level in the Quality drop-down menu (see

Quality Settings→

52).

 If you selected Custom, you can manually set the quality:

2. Click the button Change output settings on the right side.

 The Change output settings screen is displayed.

3. Select a bit rate mode in the Bit rate mode drop-down menu.

4. Enter a bit rate in the Bit rate input field, enter the quality factor, or

move the slider to the desired quality.

6. Define the target folder for the video file using the Browse button next to the Path field.
