13.2 System Configuration

The following check boxes are available on the System Configuration tab:

Check if /proc and /sys are

correctly mounted at startup

Checks if the folders /proc and /sys are correctly moun-

ted. These folders contain files that are used by Nero

Linux to detect when a device is added or removed.

Perform device permissions

checks at startup

Check IDE devices driver at

startup

Check if DMA acceleration is

Check for mounted devices at

startup

Checks for mounted devices. If a disc is mounted in a

drive, then Nero Linux might not be able to use this de-

vice.
