Burn Compilation
Check box
Determine maximum
speed
Checks how fast the compiled data can be accessed and re-
duces the selected writing speed if necessary. This prevents
a buffer underrun
.
Recorders with a feature to prevent buffer underruns do not
require a speed test.
Not available when saving with Nero Image Recorder.
Check box
Simulation
Performs all steps in the burn process without using the laser
beam. We recommend running a simulation if you are de-
compressing data before burning, e.g. when burning an
Audio CD
from MP3 files. You can assume that if simulation
is successful, the burn process will also be successful.
Not available when saving with Nero Image Recorder.
Check box
Write
Starts the actual physical burn process (e.g. after a simula-
tion).
This box is checked by default.
