The maximum cable length between the encoder register and CMIU depends on the
register's manufacturer and model. See the following table for the maximum cable lengths.

Installing the CMIU™
This section defines the procedure to install the wall CMIU.
Removing the Main Housing
Complete the following steps to install the wall CMIU.
1. Remove the main housing from the adapter.
