Using the Field Programmer

4 Do one of the following:
• Touch or click Ref
resh to force the R900G to transmit the
most current reading.
• Touch or click Sleep to place the R900G endpoint in sleep
m
ode to be used for shipping.
• Touch or click Wa
keup to activate the R900G endpoint from
sleep mode.
•Click Close to exit the Program Gas screen and return to the
start screen.
Reading the R900G Endpoint Register
The Field Programmer is designed to be used as a programming and
troubleshooting tool rather than a reading device. However, the
Field Programmer is capable of col
lecting readings.
To read a gas register, com-
plete the following steps.
1 Select GA
S from the
Neptune Programmer
System start screen.
2 Select the Read Ga
s tab.
The Gas Read screen
appears. See
Figure 8.26.

Any time you are using the Field Programmer gas program you can use the
functions on the Command Gas screen.
