Using the Field Programmer

3 Touch or click Yes to save the changes to the new format or No to
cancel.
4 Type the name of the new format in Format Name.
If you selected
a standard format, and made changes to it, you must
type a new name for the format.
A dialog appears asking you
to enter a different name for the
format.

ch or click , and type the name of the new format in For-
mat Name.

The new format is saved to the list of available gas formats.
Adding a New Gas Format
To add a new gas format, complete the following steps.
1 Select Configure Gas from the Field Pr
ogrammer Menu. See
Figure 8.5 on page 8-7.
2 When prompted, enter your password. See “Starting
Field Programmer,” on page 8-6.
