4.1. Description of first aid measures
Eye contact Rinse immediately with plenty of water for 15 minutes holding the eyelids open. Contact lenses
should be removed.
Skin contact Remove contaminated clothing. Wash off immediately with plenty of soap and water.
Ingestion DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING unless advised to do so by a doctor. DO NOT DRINK WATER. Do
not administer anything by mouth.
4.2. Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Inhalation Coughing, difficulty in breathing and in severe cases, loss of consciousness.
Eye contact May cause irritation to eyes.
Skin contact May cause irritation to skin.
Ingestion Toxic if swallowed.
4.3. Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Inhalation Immediate medical attention is required.
Eye contact Immediate medical attention is required.
Skin contact Immediate medical attention is required.
Ingestion Immediate medical attention is required.
SECTION 5: Firefighting measures
5.1. Extinguishing media
Alcohol resistant foam. Carbon dioxide (CO2). Dry chemical. Do NOT use water jet.
5.2. Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Contact with water liberates toxic gas. Burning produces irritating, toxic and obnoxious fumes. Do
NOT use water jet. Do not allow runoff water to enter sewers or drains.
5.3. Advice for firefighters
In case of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes. Wear self contained breathing apparatus
and protective clothing.
SECTION 6: Accidental release measures
6.1. Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
All handlers (including applicators) must wear long-sleeved shirt and barrier laminate gloves. Wear
suitable protective clothing and eye/face protection. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wash hands
after handling the product. Ensure adequate ventilation of the working area. Do not breathe dust.
Avoid formation of dust. Keep public away from danger area. Keep upwind.
6.2. Environmental precautions
Do not allow product to enter drains. Prevent further spillage if safe.
6.3. Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Transfer to suitable, labelled containers for disposal. Avoid raising dust.

Adopt best Manual Handling considerations when handling, carrying and dispensing. Avoid contact
